I've been borrowing lots and lots of sewing books from the library lately, many of which are too popular to renew enough times to try everything I want (good thing for amazon.ca).
The pattern for these simple oven mitts came from Lotta Jansdotter's "Simple Sewing".
These were very easy and quick to make, which means I will be making many more pairs with room for more experimentation with fabrics, quilting, and embroidery.
